    ARREST

     

    A juvenile was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Wounding, which was committed on 1st October 2014.
     
    COURT CONVICTIONS
     
    District "B" Magistrate's Court
     
    Crispen Carey of Tabernacle was convicted on two (2) charges of Indecent Language, which were committed on 6th June 2013 and 2nd May 2014, Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 6th August 2014 and Disorderly Conduct, which was committed on 2nd May 2013. He was sentenced to thirty (30) days in prison for the offence of Disorderly Conduct, fourteen (14) days in prison for offence of Indecent Language, thirty (30) days in prison for the offence Possession of Cannabis, and thirty(30) days in prison for each offence of Indecent Language charge. All sentences to run concurrently.
     
    Joseph Richards of Harris Village was convicted for the offence of Insulting Language which was committed on 17th December 2013, and warned.
     
    Shavon Richards of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of Riding a Pedal Bicycle Without Bell or Warning Device which was committed on 29th January 2014, and fined $100.00 which is to be paid by 10th October 2014 or in default will serve fourteen (14) days in prison.
     
    District "C" Magistrate's Court
     
    Troy Huggins of Market Street was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 14th May 2014, and fined $800.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve three (3) months in prison.
     
    Gavin Davis of Church Ground was convicted for the offence of Larceny which was committed between 15th and 16th July 2013, and fined $3000.00 which is to be paid for six (6) months or in default will serve three (3) years in prison, also, $1000.00 compensation to be paid in six (6) months or in default will serve twelve (12) in prison.
