One dead in early morning St. Paul’s shooting

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE OFFICERS on St. Kitts are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in St. Paul’s that left one man dead in the early hours of Sunday morning (Oct. 12).

     

    Details surrounding the incident are still sketchy but the incident is said to have taken place in Willet’s Village, St. Paul’s between 3:00a.m. and 4:00 a.m.

     

    Speaking with this publication, Police Public Relations Officer to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force Inspector Lyndon David confirmed the incident but added that the victim’s name could not be released until the next of kin was informed.

     

    David said the police are appealing to any member of the public who may have information pertaining to this incident to contact the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) at (869) 662-9336 or 467-1886(1887) or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).

     

    The police remind that individuals providing information might be eligible for an award.
