Name of murder victim released… three in custody

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE name of the young man who was murdered in St. Paul’s on Sunday morning (Oct. 12) has been released and three “persons of interest” have been taken into custody to assist with the investigations.

     

    Inspector Lyndon David – Public Relations Officer to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force – told SKVibes that the name of the deceased is Javier Isaac of St. Pauls.

     

    Isaac, according to a release issued by the police yesterday (Oct. 12), was injured during a “shooting incident which occurred at Willett’s Village, St. Pauls Village about 3:15a.m…"

     

    The release further explained that the victim – Isaac – was shot in his side and succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

     

    David has informed SKNVibes that three individuals have since been taken into police custody and are said to be assisting with investigations into the Isaac’s murder.

     

    “Anyone who has any information pertaining to (the) incident is asked to call the Violent Crime Unit at 467-1886, 1887, or 1888, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information, and you maybe eligible to receive a reward. 

     

    Meanwhile, police are reporting that they have been successful in removing a firearm from the streets of the Federation. Details are not readily available at this time, but Inspector David has confirmed that a firearm was taken into police custody.
