Basseterre St. Kitts October 15th, 2014 - After a successful mobilization effort in St Peters, culminating with a successful Listening Tour last Thursday at the St. Peters Community Centre, a highly motivated Team Unity goes to Lodge/Ottleys for another enthusiastic interaction with the people of Constituency #7, on Thursday 16 October 2014.
Constituency #7 comprises ten districts from Belle Vue to Ottleys. Since 1993, the constituency has always given very strong polling results in favour of Team Unity’s popular leader, Dr. the Hon Timothy Harris.
Dr. Harris and his colleagues are expected to update the people on a wide range of issues impacting Constituency #7 and the country at large. Team Unity will continue its dialogue on its popular Prosperity Agenda through which it commits to take St. Kitts and Nevis to a higher level of democracy and development.
The refusal of the Douglas regime to debate the Motion of No Confidence (MONC), the secrecy surrounding the Citizenship by Investment Programme and lack of accountability in the issuance of over 18,000 passports within the last two (2) years and the Advisory issued by the United States Treasury Department alerting the world that criminals were participating in the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme have all placed the governance problems on the minds of the public. The government’s failure to remedy the health hazard at the Basseterre High School has further reinforced the view that the incompetent Douglas regime has to be voted out of office.
Team Unity is committed to reduce the high cost of living, create decent jobs and set the country to work again, after years of negative growth, high unemployment and underemployment.
