Basseterre, St. KIitts - LIME continued its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities with its sponsorship of the Vibes Beach Bar “Vibes Turns Pink 2” fundraising event.
In a very fun and vibrant atmosphere at the famous Frigate Bay Strip, patrons bought raffle tickets for great prizes which included an Alcatel Smart Phone compliments LIME St. Kitts Nevis.
Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager, Mr. Kevin Edwards called on more members of the business community to duplicate the actions of LIME in assisting in community initiatives. Mr. Edwards in his remarks stated that their involvement in the event, “This is LIME's way of saying that we continue to promote good health and to reassure those who are presently fighting breast
cancer that we are behind them one hundred per cent.”
The event was able to raise six thousand four hundred ($6,400.00) which will be donated to the Reach for Recovery SKB Breast Cancer Support Group.
Sally Martin, one of the organisers of the event expressed her sincere thanks to all of the sponsors of the successful event, especially LIME St. Kitts & Nevis Ltd. for donating the smart phone to assist in raising funds.
LIME St. Kitts-Nevis will remain committed to meaningful partnerships in support of community initiatives within the Federation.
