Ventura to visit Thursday as cruise season continiues

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 12TH 2014 – The cruise ship season continues Thursday with the scheduled visit of the 3,574-passenger Ventura.

     

    Wednesday, St. Kitts’ Port Zante hosted the Azura which arrived with 3,065 cruise passengers from St. Maarten before departing for Antigua.

    On Monday, two cruise ships brought just over 4,000 passengers - Celebrity Summit with 2,167 passengers and the Jewel of the Seas with 2,015 passengers – a total of 4,182 passengers.

    On Friday, the 3,700-passenger Carnival Valor and the 3,838-passenger Adventure of the seas are to make scheduled calls while the 400-passenger Silver whisper calls on Saturday 15th.

    Six cruise ships have visited Port Zante for this month with a total of 17,299 passengers from four ship days.

    An estimated 76,000 cruise passengers are expected to visit St. Kitts from 33 cruise ships in 18 ship days.
