BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE man who had led police to the area in Bayford’s Mountain where he had buried his 13-day-old son, was charged with the infant’s murder.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Stafford Liburd this afternoon (Nov. 28) told SKNVibes that Prince Yahweh Henry of Parray’s Village was charged with his son’s murder. And a subsequent police communiqué stated that Henry was formally arrested and charged for the offence of Murder on Sunday, November 23, 2014.
On Sunday (Nov. 23), a police communiqué informed that Henry and his 13-day-old son went missing since midnight, last, and a massive search was launched on the following day to locate them.
SKNVibes was reliably informed that the infant’s mother had made the missing report to the police.
The search, the communiqué stated, had comprised members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Ross University Island Constables K-9 Division and the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force.
“Police searched Bayford's Mountain and the surrounding areas before locating Prince Yahweh Henry who was not in possession of the missing infant,” police said.
The communiqué stated that Henry admitted to leaving the child in the hills and took police to the location.
However, on arrival there, the remains of an infant believed to be that of the missing child were found and the police had taken Henry into custody to assist with their investigation.
This publication understands that the child’s mother had borne twins, he and his sister, and they were delivered by Henry who claimed that he saw a demon in the child, which may have led to his demise.
SKNVibes also understands that the flesh from certain parts of the infant’s body was missing, seemingly eaten or cut to the bone.
