BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – SOME seven months after a fatal accident traffic accident in Keys Village, Keithroy Isaac of River Ghaut, Cayon was formally arrested and charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
Isaac was charged with the death of Jeffroy Crosse of Lodge Project, which occurred during an accident on the Island Main Road in Keys Village in the vicinity of the Water Tank at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
At the time of the accident, Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David, in a press release, informed that it had involved motor jeep P2908 driven by Crosse and motorcar P7459, which was being driven by Isaac.
“Motorcar P7459 was travelling from Cayon towards Basseterre and motor jeep P2908 was travelling from Basseterre towards Lodge Project when the accident occurred. After the impact, motor jeep P2908 ran off the road over a hillside and Jeffroy Cross died at the scene of the accident,” David said.
Crosse, who operated a tailor shop at the corner of Upper Shear Lane and Central Street, was the Federation’s fourth road fatality for the year.
