BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IN an effort to provide visitors to this website with a comprehensive view of and understanding what Carnival means to Kittitians and Nevisians, as well as how it is being celebrated, the management of SKNVibes has decided to create a special page.
It is an “all things Carnival” page dubbed ‘Carnival Buzz’, that provides its visitors with articles, videos, picture, music and other information from past Carnivals to the current Sugar Mas 43.
According to SKNVibes’ Founder, Stachio Williams, the page is user-friendly, provides much information and was born out of the desire to showcase to the world how this traditional annual event is celebrated in the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
“Over the years, we have captured many cultural moments in the form of photos and articles and we thought it would be a good idea to give persons a page that they can visit to access all of this information from previous Carnivals to Sugar Mas 43.
“The page is interactive, very user-friendly and filled with cultural activities and information that will greatly assist the younger generation in knowing about their ancestors. It also provides information for research purposes and for visitors to the Federation who would like to participate in the many Carnival activities.”
He said SKNVibes is a premier partner of Carnival and the construction of the page is a demonstration of its dedication to that partnership and its commitment to St. Kitts and Nevis’ premier festival.
“The page was created as part of SKNVibes’ strong commitment to Carnival, but we are also a premium partner and we have every intention of promoting Carnival in an even greater way and this is but one of the ways that we are doing so. The Carnival Buzz page is part of our stance in full and committed partnership with the Carnival Committee.”
