BASSETERRE St. Kitts, Saturday 27th December 2014 – The National Carnival Committee is inviting the general public to witness the National Carnival Queen Pageant on Sunday 28th December and the LIME Senior Calypso Monarch Competition on Monday 29th December 2014 at the Sugar Mill, Carnival City.
Five beautiful ladies will grace the stage to compete for the title of the 2014/15 National Carnival Queen Pageant. Vying for the crown are:
Contestant # 1 – Ms. National Bank – Tishima Brown Contestant #2 – Ms. Development bank – Shaniel Francis Contestant #3 – Ms. Lime – Jakiema Flemming Contestant #4 – Ms. ZIZ – Zaiesha Joseph Contestant #5 – Ms. Carib Brewery – Akiesha Fergus
The National Carnival Queen Pageant is set to start 8:00 p.m. promptly and ticket prices are $50.00 General Admission and $125.00 V.I.P Suite. The V.I.P includes ? Exclusive red carpet entrance ? Pre-show entertainment ? Complimentary gift bag ? Delightful appetizers ? Premium bar selections ? Waiter service ? Covered seating ? Exclusive washroom facility
The LIME Senior Calypso Monarch competition is also scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. Eight Calypsonians has advanced to compete against the reigning King, Richie Buntin. The order of appearance is as follows:
1. Astro 2. Sacrotes 3. Queeny G 4. Lord Kut
5. Richie Buntin 6. Big Lice 7. Rudder 8. Lady Diva
Ticket outlets are: ? National Carnival Secretariat on Victoria Road from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th ? Tony’s Liquor Centre at Wigley Avenue ? Zampach at the Pelican Mall
Carib Queen is scheduled to make special runs for both shows. On Sunday 28th, the boat will depart Nevis at 6:30 p.m. for the National Carnival Queen Pageant and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday 29th for the LIME Senior Calypso Monarch.
Carib Queen will depart St. Kitts half an hour after each show.
