Basseterre, St. Kitts. December 30 2014 - Inception Fete - now the most popular Fete in St. Kitts and Nevis- is intended to give locals, ex-pats and visitors, an all-inclusive experience with unlimited drinks and 12 hours of uninterrupted entertainment. Since the commencement of Inception Fete in 2010, we have grown exponentially and now receive full endorsement from the National Carnival Committee and tremendous support from patrons and the business community at large.
It is against this backdrop, that we firstly thank our sponsors, the patrons and all the volunteers for their hard work and effort in making the highly anticipated event the biggest Inception Fete yet, with over 3000 patrons in attendance.
Unfortunately, due to the drastic increase in patronage there were a number of issues that caused some aspects of the event to divert from the usual extraordinary Inception Fete experience.
The vast majority of our patrons received their Inception mugs. However, with the excess demand, some persons unfortunately were asked to substitute with plastic cups, leaving some understandably disappointed.
We wish to take this opportunity to apologise to our general admission patrons particularly as it relates to bar service. We made provisions for an unlimited supply of drinks through four (4) premium bars including the Carib Bar and the newly introduced Sky Bar, but again, due to the very large turnout, access to the bars was also difficult for some. However, we wish to emphasise that our bars never ran out of stock.
As it relates to the VIP Experience we acknowledge that we fell short in the area of logistics. We will endeavour to increase the capacity of our VIP bar and we ensure that the bar is restocked effectively We admit that at times certain beverages may have been unavailable due to delays in getting them from the storage container in a timely manner. We are already in the process of coming up with ways to improve the VIP experience to better cater to your needs next year.
Also we embarked upon introducing a VVIP experience. This section was an extension of our VIP experience in response to expressed interest from some of our loyal patrons. We are happy that it afforded you comfort and a prime view of the main stage. However, it would be remiss of us if we did not extend our sincerest apologies for the food service. We faltered and apologize for this mistake. We value your support and we will put the necessary measures in place next year to improve on the experience in its entirety.
Ultimately, more than one hundred persons volunteered in an effort to make inception a success, so when blunders like this happen, we take it very seriously. We’ve also been very keen on receiving your suggestions and we thank you for raising your concerns with us. Again, we thank you for your unwavering support over the past five years and rest assured that for Inception Fete 6, we’ll get it right!
