BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LESS than 24 hours after the shooting death of Livingston Moore and the wounding of Shawn ‘Five Pack’ Rogers, another man was shot and killed this morning (Feb. 17) in the vicinity of Baker’s Corner in Basseterre.
Information reaching SKNVibes states that shortly after 8:00 a.m., a young man of Newtown, whose name was given as Shawn ‘Handsome’ Phillip, was shot to the body and head.
According to reports, about three shots were fired at the young man by two men on a motorcycle, who used their shirts to conceal their faces, and he fell on the sidewalk at the junction of Wellington Road and Branch Street.
On arrival at the scene, Crime Scene Technicians and a number of other police officers were seen conduction their investigation.

Phillip’s death has taken the number of homicides committed in the Federation for the year to seven; five on St. Kitts and two on Nevis.
