BASSETERRE St. Kitts, February 25th, 2015 -- The curtains are about to come down on the Beach Allen Primary In-school 2015 Athletic Programme. Over the past weeks the students have been engaged in a number of track and field events accumulating points for their houses - GOLD, GREEN, BLUE and RED.
At the end of the preliminary rounds Gold House took the lead with 297 points`followed closely by Blue and Red with 281 and 267 respectively, while Green House in fourth position amassing 231 points. As the individual championships begun in the Pre-Sports Competitions, the tables began to turn.
Friday 20th saw the climax of the Pre-Sports with the Cross Country event. Red House raked in some 231 points jumping ahead of the pack with an overall total of 749. Gold House the " dominator" of the Cross Country over the years took the second highest score with 172 and now has an overall total of 698. Blue and Green Houses got the same number of points of 141.
Blue House is now in 3rd place overall with a score of 664 while Green is still bringing up the rear with 587.
Is this the year when RED HOUE will take the Championship? Well to know the answer to this question, an invitation is extended to all to come on out and witness a great show of athletic talents on Friday 27th Friday 2015. The place to be is at the Beach Allen Play Ground at Taylor's from 1:00 p.m. Athletics at its best. Come on out and see who will be the 2015 Sports Champion at the Beach Allen Primary School. That is Friday 27th February at 1:00 p.m.
