The Hon. Mark Brantley
Press Release Team Unity Secretariat

Deputy Premier of Nevis and newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Aviation in the St.Kitts-Nevis Federal Parliament, Hon. Mark Brantley, has once again won the much storied and coveted Constituency 9 in Nevis, following the February 16, 2015 General Election. Not only did the popular Deputy Leader of Team UNITY win the seat but his success at the polls was defined by almost double the margin of victory when compared to the previous election held in January 2010.

Numbers don't lie. The people of Constituency 9 clearly and emphatically want Hon. Brantley, popularly referred to as The Sheriff. If one looks at the results in that seat over the last 8 years, starting in 2007, there is a clear GROUNDSWELL of support for Minister Brantley:-

In 2007, Minister Brantley won by a margin of 30 votes.
In 2010, he won again by a margin of 148 votes.
On 16th February 2015, the charismatic Deputy Premier attained his LARGEST margin ever, convincingly winning Constituency #9 by 325 votes.
Undoubtedly, Minister Brantley has shown through the numbers, and the reaction of citizens when in his presence, that he is a much beloved politician and individual.

In his less than a decade old political career, Minister Brantley has already etched his name in the political annals as one of the most successful, dynamic, charismatic and beloved politicians in the history of St. Kitts and Nevis. Minister Brantley was an integral component of Team UNITY’s  success and will no doubt remain a significant player in the success of the Team UNITY Government moving forward.
