BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE young man who was shot and killed in St. Paul’s last evening (Mar. 1) has been identified as Jason ‘Bobo’ Francis.
Information reaching SKNVibes suggests that Francis is approximately 19 years old and is from the St. Pauls/Parsons Village area.
Circumstances surrounding his death are still sketchy, but this publication understands that he collapsed in a yard after being shot while on the St. Paul’s Project.
A crowd had gathered after the incident occurred and members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force conducted their investigations.
A firearm found on the scene was taken into police custody and sources have indicated that no one was held in connection with the incident.
Sources further suggest that the incident may have been drug-related and not gang-related.
Francis’ murder is the 10th to have occurred within the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis for the year.
Investigations are ongoing.
