Newtown youth shot in McKnight

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A young man from Newtown is currently at the Joseph N France General Hospital nursing wounds after being shot this evening in McKnight.

     

    Reports reaching SKNVibes state that shortly before 8:00 p.m., Kevis ‘Yellow’ Riley of George Street, Newtown was shot twice to the body in Westbourne Ghaut in the vicinity of Parris Pharmacy.

    SKNVibes was told that the 29-year-old Riley was shot by a man dressed in female garments and was wearing a wig.

    This media house was reliably informed that Riley was shot in the arm and the wound is not life-threatening, and at press time he was being treated at the hospital.

    Police are investigating and details will follow on the availability of information.
