Rotaract Club elected board members

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, March 19th 2015 – The Rotaract Club of St. Kitts held elections on Tuesday 17th March 2015. The results were as follows; Mr Julian Bryan (President), Ms Kristin Greaux (Vice President), Aisha Wilson (Secretary) and Mr Castin Stokes (Treasurer), these members now form the board for the year 2015-2016.  These four young Professional accepted the mandate to be the leaders of this community based organization, which has been in operation for 28 years now.

     

    President Julian Bryan works at TDC as a Technician and has been a member of the club for 3 years, Vice President works at the St. Kittts Tourism Authority and has been a member for 5 years, Treasurer Castin Stokes is a teacher at the Bassterre High School and has been a member for 10 years and Seccretary Aisha Wilson is a newly inducted member of the club as at 13th Mach 2015.  Also on this day the club along with all the Rotaract clubs in the World celebrated World Rotaract Day.

    3 out of 4 members of the newly appointed board except for the newest member of the club have been to conferences and training sessions (RYLA) within the District 7030 to further their knowledge and skills, in order to serve our community and country better.

    The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. To be eligible for membership, prospective members must be 18–30 years of age, show that they are committed to Rotaract, and show that they are of good standing in the community.
