BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE St. Kitts and Nevis Senior National Men’s Football team enjoyed a fine tune-up to their World Cup Qualification campaign as they defeated their Caribbean rivals Barbados 3-1 on Sunday (May 10) in an international friendly at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex in Barbados.
According to a report in the Barbados Nation News, Kennedy Isles opened the scoring for St. Kitts and Nevis in the 29th minute before Mario Harte equalised 11 minutes later.
In the second half Devaughn Eliott and Kiamaree Rogers added two more for the Sugar Boyz, who rounded off the scoring for St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Sugar Boyz will now turn their attention to the World Cup Qualifications in a match against El Salvador on June 8 at Warner Park.
