OAS, May 25th, 2015 -- The Secretary General-elect of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro Lemes, will assume his office on Tuesday, May 26 at 17:00 EDT (21:00 GMT) in a Protocolary Meeting of the Permanent Council of the hemispheric Organization, to be held in the Hall of the Americas at its headquarters in Washington, DC.
Media are cordially invited to take part in the meeting, the reception, and an exchange with Secretary General Almagro.
Press can access the event through the main entrance of the headquarters of the hemispheric Organization (17th and Constitution Ave NW, Washington DC 20006)beginning at 15:00 EDT (19:00 GMT). The workspaces for media will be occupied on a “first-come, first-served” basis. An extra room will be made available in the building for the rest of media attending the meeting.
