    Local Business Robbed

     

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is investigating an Armed Robbery that took place at RAM'S Whole Sale Department at Bird Rock, St. Kitts on Friday 22 May 2015 about 3:50 pm. 

    Initial investigations revealed that two (2) unidentified armed assailants entered the premises and one (1) of them attacked a senior level employee and robbed the employee of an undisclosed sum of money, and during the process the employee got injured. 

    The attacker was described as:

    6 feet tall
    slim in body
    wearing a green long sleeve shirt and a brown broad hat, and they pretended to be Jehovah Witnesses distributing tracks 

    Anyone who has any information pertaining to this incident is ask to contact the CID at 465-2241, ext. 220 or 231, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS). Remember, you do not have to provide your personal information, and you maybe eligible to receive a reward. 

    Police Investigating Shooting Incident Mac Knight

    Members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police responded to a report of a shooting incident at Upper Shaw Avenue on Tuesday 26 May 2015, which occurred about 1:20 pm. 

    Initial investigations revealed that a young man was sitting on an empty plot of land at Upper Shaw Avenue when he was attacked by an unknown assailant who discharged a loaded fire arm at him. Both victim and assailant fled the scene; the assailant fled in an awaiting white motor car, and no one was reported injured to the police. 

    The assailant is described as: 

    5 feet 7 inches tall
    dark in complexion
    medium built
    wearing a white T-shirt, 3/4 blue jeans pant, and a rasta Tam
    hair dread locks

    Anyone who has information pertaining to this incident is ask to contact the Violent Crime Unit (VCU) at 467-1886, 467-1887, or 467-1888, the nearest police station, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 (TIPS).
