BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – IN preparation for the staging of the 19th annual event, the St. Kitts Music Festival Committee had launched the first of its local promotional activities, dubbed ‘Jump Off’, on Friday afternoon (Jun. 5) at the Twilyte Bar and Grill on Port Zante.
The activity was also used to launch the Music Festival Promo Girls, who interacted with patrons and took pictures with them.
The four attractive Promo Girls are Akema Christian, Chantelle Rochester, Shakeima Prentice and Rachele Anderson.
They are expected be present at all the Festival’s promotions and events to answer questions and distribute flyers, among other tasks.
The afternoon also saw performances from former National Carnival Queen Mimi Armstrong, reigning Power Soca Monarch Sugar Bowl and the Grand Masters Band.
It further saw patrons winning prizes ranging from cell phones to phablets from Music Festival sponsor - LIME. The patrons also had a chance to answer questions to win tickets to the Festival.
Also announced at the launch were the local acts who will grace the stage when the Festival kicks off on June 25.
The local acts include Infamus, Model Stoney, Nicha B, Footsy, BBM, Mr. Bagnall, Small Axe Band, Odisi and Trebla.
