CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – March 15, 2015 – Contestants for the Culturama 41 Senior Pageants revealed during a launch ceremony at the A. L. Evelyn Building.
A total of sixteen contestants will compete in the three Senior Pageants that will be staged as part of the 2015 Nevis Culturama Festival activities. Six contestants will compete for the Ms. Culture Queen Pageant title, while five contestants and five participants will compete for the Ms. Culture Swimwear and the Mr. Kool titles respectively.
The grand launch of the Ms. Culture Queen Pageant and Ms. Culture Swimwear contestants along with the Mr. Kool participants was held on Friday June 12, 2015. The launch ceremony was preceded by a motorcade of the contestants and participants from the Nevis Island Administration Building to the A. L. Evelyn Building, downtown Charlestown.
The six Ms. Culture Queen Pageant contestants launched were:

Contestant number 6, Babita Seelall, sponsored by The Nevis Housing and Land Development Corporation
The five Ms. Culture Swimwear contestants launched were:

Contestant number 2, Shirnaldeen Lewis, sponsored by Carib Brewery (St. Kitts and Nevis) Ltd
Contestant number 3 Kanesha Jones, sponsored by Fit Wellness Center
Contestant number 4, Raven Richards, sponsored by LIME
Contestant number 5, Karimah Lake, sponsored by Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority
The five Mr. Kool participants launched were:
Participant number 1, Romaine Mills adopted by The Inland Revenue Department
Participant number 2, Wricherley Gumbs, adopted by Nevis Investment Promotion Agency
Participant number 3, Arundell Dore, adopted by The Nevis Tourism Authority
Participant number 4, Delville Mills, adopted by The Nevis Culturama Committee
Participant number 5, Jevon Romney adopted by the Nevis Cultural Development Foundation
Cultural performances by the Combined Schools Masquerades, the NCDF Drummers and a calypso medley by King Astro complimented the impressive launch of the contestants and participants.
Deputy Premier and Minister of Culture in the Nevis Island Administration, the Honorable Mark A. G. Brantley delivered congratulatory remarks to the contestants on behalf of the Nevis Island Administration.
Following the successful launch of the Senior Pageants contestants and participants, the contestants, participants and sub-committee members were hosted to a dinner reception at Lime Beach Bar on Pinneys Beach which was again this year fully sponsored by owner Randy Jeffers.
On Sunday June 21st 2015 the Senior Pageants contestants would be engaged in the first of two fashion shows at the Caribbean Cove beginning at 6:00 pm. This fashion show will feature outfits from local designers. The second fashion show will be staged on Sunday July 12, 2015. The Ms. Culture Swimwear and Mr. Kool contest will be held on Thursday July 30, 2015 at the Cultural Complex while the Ms. Culture Queen Pageant will be held at the same venue on Sunday August 2, 2015.
