Young St.Kitts/Nevis Doctor of Pharmacy Student National authors a book; Creates Global Student Scholarship

By: Alexander Eddo, Press Release

June 19th, 2015  --  Young St. Kitts/Nevis National, Alexander Eddo, a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA, authors a book on Global peace titled: The Peace Seeker; Inspiring a New Generation, Published by Tate Publishing Inc.

The official release date of the book is slated for Tuesday June 30th.

A.T. Eddo, a 33 year-old Brown Hill, Nevis national, also holds a master's degree in Biochemistry. An Inspirational speaker, he has been travelling to schools and prisons and hosting soccer camps to engage the next generation. He is a member of the Clinton Foundation 20/30 Initiative and the Founder of Straight and Narrow Path Youth Ministry, an organization based in England, with a global vision to transform youths into Peaceseekers and World Changers. He is married to his lovely wife of 13 years, Cerene Williams-Eddo of Herbert Street, Newtown.

The young scholar found it difficult to fund his professional degree program at MCPHS University since St. Kitts/Nevis do not facilitate student loans for these advanced degrees. Yet, despite the challenges, Mr. Eddo decided to create a Global Student Scholarship through MCPHS University to help poorer students who have the ability to succeed in these programs but who otherwise cannot afford them. The scholarship is available for any student of any nationality or ethnic background who wants to pursue any of the professional degree qualifications offered at MCPHS. 10% of the net sale of the life of his book is being donated to the scholarship.

"Every young man and woman in the world deserves the chance to be the best they can be. Education bridges the gap between the rich and the poor and it is the primary tool that can equalize the socio-economic divide across the planet."

Alexander Eddo continues to live an exemplary life, modeled for the generation behind him to emulate. He was scouted from the St. Kitts/Nevis Senior National Football team at the tender age of 15 in 1997 by a Portuguese agent, Toze Francisco, to travel to Portugal for professional try-outs at F.C. Porto and Leixios S.C. After he returned to Nevis, young Eddo sat his CXC examinations and obtained the best CXC results in the federation with 9 passes and 6 distinctions.

Shortly after, he received a soccer scholarship to the U.S. to play with NCAA Division II outfitters Tusculum Pioneers. The pioneers were ranked 6th in the nation during his time at the college. He was later awarded a Graduate Assistantship to pursue his master's degree at East Tennessee State University where he won several awards including two Graduate Research Student grants for his dissertation.

Now he hopes that all young nationals would get a copy of his new book and be inspired to be the best human beings they can possibly muster. "There is absolutely no limit to the human will. None whatsoever." Visit www.peace-seeker.com to learn more about his latest success.
