By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THANKFULLY, a traffic accident that occurred yesterday afternoon (Jun. 21) resulted in no casualties; however, the vehicle involved is extensively damaged.

The accident occurred along a stretch of road known as Almond Walk, located between the villages of Tabernacle and Belle Vue.

SKNVibes understands that Trevor Edinborough was travelling from Tabernacle’s direction towards Parsons when he lost control of the vehicle, P8761, slammed into a tree on the mountain side of the road and it turned turtle.

The left side of the vehicle was smashed, the windscreens cracked or shattered, and other damage was observed. However, Edinborough, who is said to have been the sole occupant at the time of incident, reportedly suffered no injury.

This publication spoke with a number of persons on condition of anonymity who indicated that they are thankful that the incident did not result in injury. They, nonetheless, marveled and question how it is possible for one to be involved in such a wreck and emerge unscathed.

An appeal is again being issued to motorists to use the roadways with caution, observe speed limits and drive in accordance with road conditions.
