Businessman shot in Trinity

Highway Superette - the business establishment owned by the shooting victim Earnest ‘Gray Patch’ Hendricks

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A Trinity entrepreneur was shot early this morning (Jun. 24) by a masked man who had entered his establishment while he was preparing his products for sale. 

     

    The victim, according to Commander of District ‘B’ Superintendent Cromwell Henry, is Earnest ‘Gray Patch’ Hendricks who owns and operates a bakery and shop in the vicinity of his home.

    Henry told SKNVibes that the masked, armed individual entered Hendricks Bakery, seemingly to rob, and shot him in the process.

    The incident occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m.

    Hendricks, who suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, was rushed to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by his son, where he is being treated for his injury.

    Henry indicated that investigations into the incident are underway.
