July 8th, 2015 -- The Lawrence School of Music is making final preparations for a delightful evening. This will take place on July 14th, at St. George's Anglican Church, when past and present students of this Music School present their 34th Annual Pianoforte Concert.
This expanded group will bring their skills and experience to the programme, thus enhancing the evening's performance.
This display of musical talent, both instrumental and vocal, will be presented by young people who are assets to our country. In other words, this is really a festival of music which will provide an evening of relaxation and enjoyment.
The young people should be encouraged in this positive endeavour as they so readily share their gifts.
At these concerts there is always something fresh, with original compositions and arrangements by Lady Hulda Lawrence, while old favourites are not left out. There is something for everyone.
Earlier this year the Music School made a donation of $10,000 to Wesley Methodist Church. The presentation was made by Lady Lawrence, on behalf of the students. In accepting the gift, Rev. Joyce.
