By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A senior police official has confirmed that the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is making investigations into an attempted suicide which took place at Port Zante earlier today (Jul. 24).

Shortly before 10:00 a.m., SKNVibes observed a unit from the Emergency Medical Services rushing west along the Bay Road, seemingly bound for the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

It was later discovered that a young lady was removed from the eastern side of Port Zante by the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).

An interview with Acting Commissioner of Police Stafford Liburd revealed that the Police were informed of the incident and responded to make investigations.

SKNVibes understands that the young lady might have jumped into the sea and had to be fished out by a number of individuals.

This publication also understands that the EMTs performed emergency procedures on the young lady before taking her to the hospital.

    Investigations are being made.
