Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 26, 2015 (SKNIS)—The President of the Republic of Zambia, Edgar Chagwa Lungu, has extended “heartfelt congratulations and best wishes” to the Government and People of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis on the celebration of its 32nd anniversary of Independence.
In a letter addressed to Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, His Excellency Lungu said that “Zambia appreciates the continued friendship and recognizes the cordial relations that exist between our two countries which are based on a firm foundation of mutual trust and respect.”
“It is my Government’s desire that our countries shall continue to share common positions through our membership to the international bodies such as the United Nations and the Commonwealth, “President Lungu added.
He wished for the people of St. Kitts and Nevis “happiness, good health, peace and prosperity.”
