Basseterre, St. Kitts (September 30, 2015) - The Reunion Organizing Committee of 1990 (ROC-90), in commemoration of their 25 years of service to the students of the Basseterre High School, hosted a series of events within the month of September 2015.
The organization’s activities began on September 6th, 2015 with a church service at the St. Peters Anglican Church. This was followed by a ‘Family Fun Day’ at the Brimstone Hill Fortress.
The group then embarked on a number of public awareness initiatives. Various media houses were visited in efforts of raising sentience of the group to the people of St. Kitts – Nevis.
The celebrations climaxed with a gala at the St. Kitts Marriott Hotel on September 15th, 2015.
Chairman of the organization, Mr. Victor Williams commented on the success of the organization's silver anniversary: “Never in a million years did I think we would have made this milestone. By the mercies of God, our gracious sponsors and the epitome of determination in the people that make up ROC-90, we are here. For 25 years we have been supporting brilliant but financially challenged students of the Basseterre High School. We can now boast of Doctors, Lawyers and IT Entrepreneurs. One of our students even met The Queen! 25 years is a grand milestone for ROC-90 so we say thank you to all who have supported us for the last 25 years. We look forward to another successful 25 years working together to build and promote the brilliance our children have to offer.”

About ROC-90
During a class reunion in 1990, the graduating class of 1973 gave birth to a noble idea which would lead towards creating better opportunities for students of their alma mater. It was from this reunion, that the ROC-90 scholarship was created; geared towards students with limited financial resources but demonstrated their aptitude for success both inside and outside of the classroom.
ROC-90 only grants scholarships to students of the Basseterre High School.
