ARRESTS:
Veronica Bernier of Romney Ground, Sandy Point was formally arrested, charged and cautioned for the offences of Obstruction, Resisting Arrest, Battery on Police and Disorderly Conduct by Making Noise. Incident occurred at Port Zante on October 2nd 2015.
Benier received bail and is scheduled to make an appearance before the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 5th October, 2015.
Cleon Doyling of Saddlers/Challengers Village was formally arrested, charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny which was committed on 28/9/15.
BAILED:
Kenrick Simmonds of Earl Mornes, Bird Rock who was charged on eight (8) Warrants in the First Instance for the following offences:
1) Importation of Cannabis
2) Aid & Abet Tenille Percival in the commission of the offence of Importation of Cannabis
3)Aid & Abet Tenille Percival in the commission of the offence of possession of Cannabis with intent to supply to another
4) Aid & Abet Tenille Percival in the Commission of the Offence of Possession of Cannabis
5) Conspire with Greg Williamson to import Cannabis
6) Aid & Abet Greg Williamson in the commission of the offence of Possession of Cannabis
7) Aid & Abet Greg Williamson in the commission of the offence of Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply to another
8) Obstruction Under the Electronic Crime Act was granted bail and is scheduled to make an appearance before the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 02 November 2015.
He was bailed out in the sum of $500,000.00 with two(2) sureties in the like sum.
The conditions of his bail are as follows:
(1) report to the Basseterre Police Station every Friday between the hours of 6:00 amand 6:00 pm
(2) surrender all travel documents ie passports and green card.
Greg Williamson of Antigua and Barbuda and Tenielle Percival of Lime Kiln Project who were jointly charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply and Importation of Cannabis were both remanded until Friday 9th October, 2015.
Both defendants are scheduled to make appearances before the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 2nd 2015.
Gavin Rogers of West Farm who was charged for the offence of Causing Grievous Bodily Harm committed on the 25th July, 2015 was granted bail and is scheduled to make and appearance before the Basseterre Magistrate Court on December 7th December 2015.
COURT CONVICTIONS:
Vernon Parris of Mcknight who was charged for the offences of Indecent Language, Threat, Obstruction, Refusing to give name, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct by fighting was convicted and fined on all charges:
1) Indecent Language: He was ordered to pay $100.00 in one (1) month or one (1) month imprisonment.
2) Disorderly Conduct by Making Noise: Convicted and ordered to pay $100.00 in one (1) month or one (1) month imprisonment. 3) Threat: Convicted and fined $200.00 in one (1) month or six (6) weeks imprisonment.
4) Obstruction: Convicted and fined $250.00 in one (1) month or two (2) months imprisonment.
5) Refusing To Give Name: Convicted and fined $250.00 in one (1) month or two (2) months imprisonment.
6) Resisting Arrest: Convicted and fined $250.00 in one (1) month or two (2) months imprisonment.
