Basketball City, St.Kitts (January 26th 2016) -- The SKNABA has informed all member clubs and teams and prospective member clubs and teams of a number of REVISED critical deadlines and dates for the upcoming 2016 season. After concluding a largely successful 2015 SKNABA Playoffs and Finals which saw the St.Pauls Tuff Knots winning the Premier Division Title and the St. Peters Runnerz taking the “A” Division title. In December the SKNABA Management met and had set a number of events, dates and deadlines for the upcoming 2016 season to which Notices were disseminated outlining those dates and deadlines.
Late last week the SKNABA Management was forced to reschedule the AGM which was initially slated for January 21st. As a result a number of deadlines have been revised.
In a MEMO sent to teams by General Secretary Wallis Wilkin clubs and members were informed of the revised subscription deadline for all clubs and teams as well as the new registration deadline for the Junior DIVISION (J-League). Also indicated in the memo was the revised date of the Annual General Meeting which is slated for Janaury 28th 2016. The AGM will also stand as the new date for the subscription deadline for all clubs, teams, members and prospective members.
“No Club or team can participate in the upcoming season unless they are properly subscribed as members and thus meeting the subscription deadline is of paramount importance if clubs or teams wishes to participate in the upcomgn season. In other words if any club or team does not meet the subscription deadline wthey will be automatically ineligible for participation in the 2016 season,” said SKNABA General Secretary Wallis WILKIN.
The MEMO sent to all clubs reads “The St.Kitts-Nevis Amateur Basketball Association wishes to inform all Clubs and Teams desirous of participating in this years SKNABA “A”, Female and Premier League’s are asked to note that the deadline for Subscription for this year’s tournament is Thursday January 28th 2016 at 6pm . This date also marks the deadline for registration of Teams desirous of participating in this years Junior or J-League Tournament
Please also note that the Annual General Meeting which was originally scheduld for January 21st will now be held on the Subscription Deadline Date of Thursday Janaury 28th 2016. In addition to other matters the AGM will be used to facilitate the SKNABA League subscription and J-League registration deadlines processes for ALL Teams and Clubs.

Failure to meet this deadline will result in your club or team’s ineligibility to participate in this year’s SKNABA League
