BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – JUDGING from the looks of the vehicle, two individuals are said to be more than fortunate to have survived an accident that took place late last night (Jan. 28).

At about 10:45 p.m., according to Commander of District ‘B”, Superintendent Cromwell Henry, Vance Dickenson was driving vehicle PA5020 in the White Gate area towards Dieppe Bay when he lost control of it.

Henry said the Cayon resident was accompanied by Nicholas Liddie of Phillip’s Village and explained that according to police investigations, after control of the vehicle was lost it slammed into a tree on the seaside of the road before coming to a halt.

SKNVibes understands that in addition to felling the tree, extensive damage was caused to the vehicle.

Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via the Emergency Medical Services.

This publication learned that Dickenson had suffered minor injuries to his face and Liddie had complained of chest pains, while the front of the vehicle and both windscreens were damaged.

Superindentent Henry reminded that "drivers must drive according to the road conditions and within the speed limit, especially at nights".
