CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – IN just a matter of 12 hours another man was shot and killed in the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Reports reaching SKNVibes state that this morning (Jan. 30) the lifeless body of a man was discovered in Bath Village Cemetery with a bullet wound.
This was confirmed by Head of the Nevis Division of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Superintendent Hilroy Brandy, who informed that police were notified by residents in the area that they had heard the report of gunfire at about 7:30 a.m.
He stated that officers had combed the area and found the body lying between two tombs.
The Superintendent also stated that the identity of the man is unknown at this time but more information would be provided when the officers would have completed their investigation.
This death has taken the number of homicide committed in the Federation for the year to five.
