Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 11, 2016 (SKNIS)—The formal meeting of the Cabinet took place on Monday, February 08, 2016. The meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris.
1. Cabinet discussed the activities for the National Season of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance. Cabinet was pleased with the huge turnout and success of the Prayer Rally to launch the season.
2. Cabinet discussed the first anniversary activities of the Government of National Unity which was elected to office on February 16, 2015.
3. Cabinet looked at issues pertaining to safety and security and came up with proposals for dealing with these.
