(P.A.M COMS):- The People’s Action Movement will be having its 51st annual Caucus and Convention on the 9th and 10th of April respectively.
The annual Caucus will see delegates from All 8 constituencies convene and discuss matters relevant to the party’s present situation and future goals. Members will have an opportunity to elect a new party executive that will guide the party for another year. All posts are up for election except party leader, The Hon.Shawn Richards retained his position as party leader at the 2015 caucus. The Caucus will feature reports by members of the executive, by the various constituencies and sub branches within the Party.
The current executive officers are:

• Mrs. Vanessa Phipps, Deputy Chair
• Ms. Ryllis Percival, Treasurer
• Ms. Natasha Grey, Deputy Secretary
• Mr. Gregg Herbert, Public relations Officer
• Hon. Shawn Richards, Party Leader
• Hon.Eugene Hamilton, Deputy Leader
• Mr.Jonel Powell, Deputy Leader
The Caucus Commences at 4pm at Party Headquarters on Saturday April 9th, 2016.
On the following day Sunday 10th April, The weekend of activities will culminate with The People’s Action Movement’s national convention.
The convention will welcome members, supporters and well-wishers to the party headquarters for what is always an exciting afternoon.
The Theme for this year’s Convention is “Moving Forward, creating opportunities for all”.
Attendees will hear presentations from all candidates/representatives from all 8 constituencies on the successes of the party and their performance in the Government of national Unity.
The elected executive officers will also be ratified at the convention.
The guest speaker will be Hon. Floyd Green of the Jamaica Labour party. Hon.Green became a first time parliamentarian after defeating the PNP incumbent in the recently concluded general elections in Jamaica that saw the JLP taking the reins of Government. He is noted for his energetic style on the platform as well as being one of the youngest parliamentarians in Jamaica.
The National Convention will commence at 3pm at P.A.M Headquarters on Sunday April 10th
