Man hospitalised in drive-by shooting in Nevis

By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – JUST one day after the shooting-death of 20-year-old Vincey Ferlance of Bath Village, another young man is nursing bullets wounds at the Alexandra Hospital in Nevis.

Information reaching SKNVibes states that a young man, whose name was given as Kishanda Wallace or Kishanda Clarke, was shot to the leg and shoulder.

This media house was told that the young man hails from Newtown, St. Kitts but is residing at Government Road, Charlestown, Nevis.

Information further states that earlier this evening (Apr. 17) while the young man was walking along Stuart Williams Drive, a vehicle drove by and someone within opened fire in his direction before making good their escape.

It was learnt that he was struck twice in the left shoulder and once in the left leg, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

One individual told this media house that the perpetrator fired about 14 shots and it is believed that an automatic firearm was used in commission of the crime.

Efforts by SKNVibes to reach Senior Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force on both islands for confirmation and a comment on the incident were futile.

More on this incident as information becomes available.
