PALS Receives much needed support from Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies

By: Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies, Press Release

April 26th, 2016 -- The Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies has once again this year provided a helping hand of support to the Pediatric Assistance League of St Kitts (PALS) in support of the important work the organization does. PALS is a non-profit organization committed to assisting local families in need of financial and other assistance in accessing overseas medical care for their children.

This year Delisle Walwyn matched its $10,000 donation from last year. However, the company also went a step further with this year’s donation. In an effort to bring the staff of the company into the initiative, the company encouraged its staff to contribute towards the cause with the promise that in addition to the $10,000 donation being made, the company would match the total staff donation. When all was said and done the total donation from Delisle Walwyn and its staff was an impressive $12,072.40. Hats off to the Delisle Walwyn staff for contributing in a meaningful way to the cause.

PALS president, Giselle Mathews and Treasurer, Carolyn Chisholm expressed their gratitude to the Management and Staff of Delisle Walwyn noting that the contributions go a long way in providing much needed assistance to children in need of urgent medical care and provides hope and support to their parents and guardians as they struggle emotionally and financially to attend to their child’s medical needs.

The Delisle Walwyn Group of Companies and its staff are pleased to contribute to such a worthy cause and applaud the efforts of the Board and administrators of PALS who understand and are guided by the adage, “It takes the village to raise a child”.
