April 27th, 2016 -- Each One Reach One (EORO) Inc. is a recently established Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) focused on offering mentorship services to meet the social, emotional, professional and personal development needs of young women between the ages of 18 and 35 on the island of Nevis.
This initiative was conceptualised by Ms. Camara Celeen Lee as a means of empowering this generation of young women to set and accomplish their goals, while fostering an environment of sharing and connection. Subsequently, a Board of Directors was established. Ms. Camara Lee, Ms. Zahnela Claxton, Ms. Michelle Slack and Mrs. Evelyn Henville are serving as the founding Board members. Each One Reach One is envisioned as a support network to uplift, empower and transform the lives of its mentees, and by extension the wider community and nation as a whole.
The programme will pair trained, suitable, female volunteer mentors with young women who seek the services of the NGO. Each mentor has a background deeply rooted in extensive community service and volunteer work, allowing them to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with issues affecting our young people today.
The Program is built on the four pillars of its Core Values: Confidentiality, Trust, Respect, and Accountability, and has implemented and established strategic measures to ensure that these values are upheld. The mentors will also invite young women in the community to participate. There are no application or enrolment fees to become a member of Each One Reach One.
