BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - WHAT is being referred to as a possible alteration between siblings, led to a male teenager being stabbed to death in the Sandy Point area.
The incident, which is sending shockwaves through the Federation, transpired this evening (Apr. 30) at Bourke’s Housing Project.
Superintendent Lionel Moore, District Commander for that area (District B), told SKNVibes that the deceased is about 19 years old and that he sustained a stab wound(s) to the chest, reportedly at the hands of his sister.
He said he understands that there might have been an altercation between the two, which led to the male’s demise.
The wounded chap, Superintendent Moore indicated, was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Moore was not able to provide the name of the deceased and he indicated that the alleged perpetrator was not taken into custody.
Investigations into the incident are being made and as further information becomes available, it would be published by this media house in a subsequent article.
