BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER two years of teaching and training, 13 individuals have recently graduated as the first class of Joshua Ministries International’s (JMI) Five Fold Plus Bible School.
The Bible School was founded by Apostle Dr. Glen England, who is the Chancellor, and his wife Prophetess Karen England who functions as its President.
Dr. England gave birth to the school by inspiration of God and having realized that there is need for exposure of the truth concerning the Five Fold Offices within the Kingdom of God which are the apostle, the prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, and the teacher.
His mandate of equipping members of the Kingdom of God to possess and walk in their inheritance and authority through Christ Jesus and pushing them into their God-given destiny were also inspirational factors for the opening of the school.
Although the Bible School places emphasis on the five gifts of Christ – as outlined in the base scripture Ephesians 4:11-16 – a wide range of topics are dealt with during the sessions. These include Deliverance, Faith, the Call and Separation.
The sessions are, more often than not, very real and as expressed by one of the graduands, Alincia Huggins, “Apostle Glen has been forthcoming and very candid about his mistakes which helped us as individuals to be alert and on guard.”
She said the classes were eye-opening and explained that she looked forward to each session with great expectancy.
“Too many Christians are walking around aimlessly not knowing their true purpose in God. The teachings are in-depth and include the functions of the body of Christ. This class has been revelatory, eye opening to the things of God, educational and encouraging to me as a woman of God. I look forward joyously each week to each session, not only to learn more and expound more on the word of God but during difficult times in my life God would send a word to refuel the warrior spirit in me and to keep me on track.”
The graduating class consisted of Patricia Caines, Khemadityalall Manroop, Laughton Collins, Terresa McCall, Faye Smithen, Alincia Huggins, Odessa Lawrence, Keith Warner, Kevon Dennis, Kelvin Reid, Tonya Greaux, Amanda White and Parbattie Sewpersaud.
Each graduand received a certificate of successful completion in addition to which Reid, Warner and Dennis were given special awards for their outstanding performance in specific areas.
The Valedictorian spot was captured by Manroop who outperformed his classmates in his written and oral submissions/presentations.
Speaking about the purpose of the school, Dr. England said, “Over the years I saw Christianity being treated like something that is weak. I saw many people, gifted, having purpose but not knowing how to release the purpose. I saw a lot of people going around in circles…and I prayed and asked God what can we do, what can Joshua Ministries, what can myself and my wife do? And I was inspired to raise up this school and I wanted to educate the body of Christ on the giftings and the character of the Body of Christ.”
The word of Exaltation was given by JMI’s Regional Overseer and spiritual father of Dr. England, Apostle Dr. James Duncan, who, while congratulating the graduating class, admonished them to continue achieving and when giants/obstacles present themselves, rather than be afraid of them, pick a fight with and conquer them.
The Five Fold Plus Bible School is being accredited so that persons who successfully complete the courses could earn degrees.
As for the graduating class, they would move on to advanced sessions, and registration for the school is opened not only to members of JMI but any interested individual.
