May 18th, 2016 -- Water consumers in the Frigate Bay, South East Peninsula and Bird Rock areas will experience low pressure and service interruption into this afternoon and this evening due to main pipeline breaks in the distribution system.
This has resulted in critically low water storage levels at the Morne Peak, Bird Rock Storage Reservoir. The service should slowly return late this evening for residents at higher elevations and earlier for other residents.
All concerned are therefore asked to take note and that the island wide rationing continues daily, during the hours 10:00pm to 5:00am. All residents are encouraged to continue to take steps to use the limited supply wisely and continue to report leaks and other related concerns to the Water Services Department at 466-8500 or 466-3070.
The Water Services Department apologises for any inconvenience this interruption in service may cause.
