Warriors Coach Roger Harper hails impact of proud Guyana public for CPL 2016

June 8th, 2016 -- The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) are delighted to announce that the Ticket Offices at Guyana CPL Office, Corner Camp and Quamina Streets in Georgetown will open tomorrow.

The Ticket Offices will be open for business from Monday to Saturday during normal working hours (9am-6pm) to enable fans to physically buy their tickets in advance for the biggest party in sport this summer.

Supporters can already buy tickets online at www.cplt20.com and are urged to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.

The Warriors will be aiming to lift their inaugural CPL title this year and will face Jamaica Tallawahs in their first home fixture on Thursday, 7 July and will play a mix of day and night games between 7 - 12 July.

Roger Harper, Head Coach of Guyana Amazon Warriors, said: “The CPL is now just a few weeks away and there’s great excitement from everyone within the organisation. Guyana supporters are incredibly proud of their team and their support on match days makes Providence Stadium one of the greatest fortresses in the Caribbean.

“To help us achieve success on the field this year we need big crowds and we are going to try our best to play our part and aim to give our public a team to be proud of. I hope to see as many fans as possible again this year.”

Guyana Amazon Warriors Home Fixtures (all times local): 7 July – Jamaica Tallawahs (7pm), 9 July – St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots (12 Midday), 10 July – Trinbago Knight Riders (7pm), 12 July – St. Lucia Zouks (7pm).
