    Warner Park Cricket Stadium will host International cricket on June 11th, 13th and 15th, when West Indies, South Africa and Australia play each other in the group stage of the 2016 Tri Nation Series

     

    June 9th, 2016 -- To ensure a pleasant spectator experience, a number of security and traffic management measures will be implemented. All persons entering the stadium will be subject to a search of their person and bags.  
     
    The following items will not be allowed in the stadium: 
     
    • Firearms, weapons, knives and imitation weapons
     
    • Fireworks, explosives, flammable items
     
    • Mace/ gas containers
     
    • Glass bottles or containers
     
    • Alcohol**
     
    • Illegal drugs or narcotics
     
    • Animals (except guide dogs)
     
    •  Air horns/ blow horns/Vuvuzelas
     
    • Tripods for cameras
     
    • Video cameras or camcorders 
    Authorised (Restricted) Items
     
    • Personal (folding) umbrellas (Small folding umbrellas are permitted)
     
    • Cooler bags/ boxes (must be able to fit under the seat) (Not exceeding12 x 12 x 12)
     
    • Own foodstuff (with plastic cutlery)
     
    • Soft drinks/ water in plastic bottles
     
    • Flasks
     
    • Cameras for recreational and personal non-commercial use only
     
    • Balls, bats
     
    • Flags and banners provided that, in the opinion of the Management they are not vulgar, political, racial, discriminatory, sexual in nature, or display advertising which may in any way impinge or will be in conflict with the rights of the partners/sponsors/suppliers/vendors of the event (in any language) or deemed to be offensive or impact on the view of other spectators. 
     
    • Any sticks may not protrude more than a hand’s breadth below the flag
     
    • Small radios, CD/ DVD/MP3 players
     
    • Glass containers: Perfume, prescription medication or insect repellent bottles only
     
    • Aerosol deodorant, medication or insect repellent only
     
    • Cigarette lighters/ matches 
     
    The following traffic restrictions will be in effect from 8 am on match days:
     
    1.0. ROAD CLOSURE
     
    • Lozack Road - between Victoria Road and Hart Street.
    2.0 PARKING RESTRICTIONS
     
    • No  parking will be permitted on the following streets:
     
    • Victoria Road – between Basseterre High and Losack Road.
     
    • Park Range – between Basseterre High and Losack Road.
     
    • Lozack Road – Between Victoria Road and Hart Street
     
    3.0 TRAFFIC FLOW:
                
    • Traffic will flow in one direction, northwards along Victoria Road.
     
    • Eastward along Losack Road between Hart Street and Wellington Road.
     
    • Eastwards along the road north of the NHC.
     
     
    4.0  PARKING:  
     
    •  Parking on the Basseterre High School grounds will be open to the General Public.  
    • VIP’s and Government officials will park on Losack Road.
    • Teams and match officials will park in the parking lot immediately east of the old pavilion.
    • Local Organising Committee members and sponsors will park on Tennis Court Parking lot and Carnival City.
    Persons must present the appropriate parking passes to gain access to designated areas
     
    Parking inside Warner Park is very restricted; hence it is important that persons have the relevant Car passes. 
     
    Police Officers, Traffic Wardens and Private Security personnel will be on duty to assist the public and ensure compliance with these security and traffic measures.
