Plans to bring its signature energy to take the fun and excitement to another level

Port of Spain, 25 June 2016 -- Every year since the inception of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 tournament in 2013, Busta Soft Drinks has brought the flavour and colour to the crowds, harnessing and amplifying the full energetic vibrancy of the Caribbean and its people.

Busta Soft Drinks are in every corner of the Caribbean and is an indigenous Caribbean brand that represents the fun-loving playfulness that all our islanders identify with. We encourage people to show who they really are, to live in full colour, and to play in full colour. That really is what the Caribbean is all about, full immersion in really being alive.

Over the last four years of sponsorship, Busta has earned a reputation at the Hero CPL as the fun ones- bringing the excitement, the drama, the over the top energy and excitement- and this year is going to be bigger and better than ever before. Nobody escapes the frenetic energy that Busta brings to the Hero CPL, everyone gets into the celebration in true Caribbean style.

At the match venues enjoy the full Busta Experience, with the Busta Drinks Break led by our famous Busta Cart, get energized by the Busta-Move Dancers who always jump-start the crowd from center stage, dance along in the stands with our entertainers and musicians and be wowed by the Busta Flame-breathers heating up the place. And while you’re there, we have lots and lots of giveaways for you and your crew including our newest Busta Fashion must-have accessories at every game.

Busta has even more going on in between games, giving our fans the opportunity to interact with their favourite players in venues across the Caribbean by taking part in our Busta Reach activities. Additionally on the radio and on Facebook fans can win match tickets courtesy of Busta. You can also enter to win the Busta Grand Prize of two tickets to the Hero CPL T20 Finals, by showing your skills with the bat in “The Busta Keep-Up The Ball Challenge” on the Busta Soft Drinks Facebook Page.

To take it to another level, Busta is holding its first ever Busta LIVE Concert in Jamaica, with live performances from popular artistes, headlined by our Busta Brand Ambassador, internationally renowned Jamaican recording artist and chart-topper, I-Octane!

Speaking for the brand, Anna Mohammed COO of Busta’s parent company, SM Jaleel & Company Ltd, “Busta and cricket go hand in hand, we have always been very active sponsors of sports throughout the region from the youth level all the way to the professional level at Hero CPL T20. We have seen the excitement grow every year, we have seen the crowds grow every year and we are very pleased for our fourth consecutive year to be a League Sponsor of this tremendously successful event.”

Jamie Stewart, Commercial Director of CPL, added: “Busta were one of the proud Caribbean brands who helped launch the Hero CPL in the first year, and it is great to see them continue the relationship into its fourth year. We hope CPL fans will look to Busta when needing refreshment during this exciting summer of Cricket action. Thanks again to Busta and other CPL Partners for helping bring some of the best in World T20 action to the Caribbean."

The Hero CPL will take place between June 29 – August 7 at several venues across the Caribbean in Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, St Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis and Jamaica, and also for the first time in Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA.
