BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER sitting on a Sunday to hear the case of indecent language which was brought against American rapper 50 Cent, the District ‘A’ Magistrate accepted his guilty plea and fined him accordingly.

Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson appeared before Her Honour Josephine Mallelieu-Webbe after he was arrested during the early-morning hours of Sunday (Jun. 26) for using profanity in his performance at St. Kitts Music Festival held at Warner Park.

SKNVibes understands that after his performance, he was removed from his back-stage dressing room by the police and booked while his bodyguard Bajar Walter was charged with indecent language and obstruction under the Small Charges Act.

This media house was reliably informed that while at court, the obstruction charge was withdrawn from Walter and both he and 50 Cent pleaded guilty to the indecent language charges.

Her Honour Mallelieu-Webbe slapped a fine of $3,000 on each to be paid forthwith.

The fines were paid after which both men regained possession of their travel documents. SKNVibes understands that they are scheduled to leave the island this afternoon to return to the United States of America where 50 Cent is scheduled to appear at the BET Awards.
