BVI, 28 June 2016 - Mr. David Archer has been designated by Her Majesty the Queen to act in the Office of Deputy Governor from 2 June until 31 July. He was sworn in on Monday, June 27 by His Excellency the Governor Mr. John S. Duncan, OBE.
Mr. Archer will act in the office in accordance with section 36(2)(b) and (c) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order 2007, during the absence of the Deputy Governor Mrs. V. Inez Archibald who is currently on leave.
