These upgrades include Promises Kept, a user controlled interface enabling users to keep track of their governments progress in completing 193 promises as outlined in their party manifesto, and the introduction of John 8:32, a fact-check of assertions and allegations made by the Opposition Party - both in an effort to elevate this media house’s commitment to remaining neutral, unbiased as a guardian of the public interest, and as a watchdog on the activities of government.
On July 13, on FreedomFM’s Issues program, Nigel Carty of the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party used the public airways to make slanderous statements that have necessitated an immediate response to assure our staff, advertisers, sponsors and critical business relationships, who support both Labour and Unity, that SKNVibes categorically denies the assertions and allegations made by Nigel Carty and Marcella Liburd during the Issues broadcast.
SKNVibes is privately owned and operated. As an organization, we are not owned, funded, or paid by a political party, directly or indirectly, nor have we ever received funds outside of our stated advertising products and services in accordance with best business practices.
When a public figure takes to the airways to slander a private business with the aim to damage a brand by using false and baseless statements, it is a serious matter that has necessitated management to mitigate damages by providing timely clarification to the public at large.
