By: Scotiabank, Press Release

Nevis , July 20, 2016 – Travellers at the Vance W. Amory International Airport will now experience more convenience and better security thanks to security and line control equipment donated by Scotiabank to the air and seaport.

The Bank’s donation includes a security monitor and retractable line dividers to the Nevis Air & Seaports Authority (NASPA).  The monitor will be used to enhance security while the line dividers will be utilized to improve line functionality and improve traveller experience at the airport.

Scotiabank Charlestown Branch Manager, Ebony Harp was pleased to support NASPA, adding that, “For us service doesn’t end in the branch – it goes beyond our doors into the communities we serve.  We give back by supporting our communities as well as supporting initiatives to make our country work better.”

NASPA was established in March 1995 by “The Nevis Air and Sea Ports Authority Act 1995”. NASPA is charged with the responsibility of ownership and operation of the island’s designated air and sea ports.
