BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ONE of the young men who was injured in the May 2016 Saddlers shooting incident died in hospital early this morning (Aug. 12) reports indicate.
The incident which led to his injuries took place on the evening of May 20 when a group of young men were hanging around in vicinity of a shop at Saddler’s Village and gunmen approached opening fire on them.
Two of the men – Uriel Keron Michael and Willis Phillip of Saddlers Village - were fatally wounded while three others were injured. SKNVibes understood that two were seriously injured while one was grazed by a bullet.
SKNVibes understands that the young who died this morning is Earl ‘Element’ Connor of Saddlers. He was reportedly admitted to the Joseph N. France General Hospital and subsequently died.
An autopsy would have to be performed to determine the cause of death and to specify whether or not his death was a direct result of injuries from the shooting incident.
Michael and Phillip were the Federation’s 13th and 14th homicide victims.
