BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – NO charges have been laid against the man who reportedly damaged four vehicles at S. L. Horsford’s Automotive Division but this publication understands that he has been committed to the Psychiatric Ward at the Joseph N. France General Hospital (JNF).

The man is accused of damaging two new vehicles which were in the business’ show room and two others which were located in the stock yard.

Reports indicate that on Thursday last (Aug. 18) the man approached workers there to purchase six vehicles and was advised that payment was needed before they would be released.

He returned the following day reportedly without payment and was further advised that the vehicles would not be released until the bill was settled.

The man is said to have left the establishment only to return with a piece of pipe which he used to strike a number of vehicles. SKNVibes understands that he gained access to the company’s stock yard by scaling the fence.

He was eventually subdued and disarmed by civilians and taken into police custody.

A police source told SKNVibes that he was subsequently taken to JNF, pending further investigations into the matter.
